Cylinder numbering

Hey all

I have a mercruiser MCM 4.3 Litre 262 cid engine with an alpha one stern drive s/n GM 12552422 year 11/11/02 thunderbolt ing, engine rotation is left hand cyl firing order is 165432. the question is what cylinder is number 1 and what is the numbering if you are in the boat locking at the engine. I have a seloc manuel but cant find this out i also have a seloc online acc but no luck. Thanks Chris

Firiing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2

Front of engine
1-2
3-4

Ayuh,... I guess it depends on What book you're readin'...
I'm pretty Sure it's in the Factory Manuals....
Which you can find for Free in the Adults Only section of this forum...
