My dad gave me a hard time when I bought my boat (even though ha had boats when i was growing up) said a boat is just a hole in the water you throw money into. On monday i showed him a boat on craigs list that was for sale near us ....... well long story short, he bought it. It's a 1987 Four Winns 160 Freedom with a 3.0 mercruiser and a alpha 1

We took it out on a small local lake when we got it home it ran great

We had that exact same boat, same year, same engine.. We sold it for $2,500 with the trailer.. Who knows, that might be my boat you have there.. We sold it to a younger couple in PA. over a year ago.

I've an 83 four winns marquis 160 F & S with a 50 hp Johnson. Love my boat. His may be in a lil better shape than mine tho.

Dosen't just figure he took the boat out this weekend and hit somthing in the river and broke a chunk out of one of the blades on the prop
