Wow, what a dream team for Rick! Kinda sux for me though...I jumped on the Kyle Busch bandwagon at the beginning of this year. Now he's wanting out??? Crazy, man.

Big NASCAR fan here, but I am not so sure about this one yet . . . I am not a Kyle fan, and don't really wish any Busch bros on anybody . . . I like Jr., but doesn't feel like a fit with Hendrick yet to me. Not sure how Jimmy's ego will handle that one. I guess I 'd love to see Jr. do well and Jimmy and Gordon splatter all over the place ,and I am not your typical Gordon hater either, but I don't like dynasties . . .

I think the reason he wont go to Gibbs is Budweiser is to Jr. as Dupont is to Gordon.

That's exactly why, Gibbs racing said no beer sponsors wanted to uphold family values, and why would you give up a sponsor like that. I say good for JR, he'll have a winning team that actually gives a hoot about him as opposed to Teresa E. Gotta wonder if little Jeffie has his in a bunch though. I honestly figured JR would end up at Childress. Really shocked me when he didn't, but the teams Childress fields haven't been much of a contender. May actually have to watch races regularly again next year to see how things go.

The question is, are you sure Bud and JR will be together next year? I did hear some fumblings that might not be true, but there will always be rumors.

I am not sure I like it either - you give another great driver to a dominate team ... Yankees comes to mind here ... and I am not sure Jimmie OR Jeffie's egos can handle sharing the limelight with another driver. It will be interesting to see what happens - it might have the opposite effect on Hendrix racing.

Gotta hand it to Gobbs for sticking to his values - whether you like them or not. Money or the chance to add a great driver to the fold did NOT take change them.
