I had screwed up one of the top holes on my block for the exhaust manifold on a 72 65hp evinrude. I broke some hard steel in the hole drilling out a broken easy out and did a number on the hole. I couldn't use a heli coil because the hole was wider now than the 1/4 20 helicoil. A guy at west marine told me to just jam in some grey marinetek and drill it and tap it out 1/4 20. I just wanted to know if anyone has used this marinetek for this or a similar repair. I'm conserned because the area the marinetek is in gets about 140 degrees and is constantly getting hot and cooling off. Any advice on whether this will or won't work would be helpful. Thanks again.<br />Mike Giglio
