Damn NGk's! Question...

I have a 2003 Merc 75. The plugs that are in it now are NGK BUZHW-2. I looked on Mercurypartsexpress.com and they list NGK BUHW-2. What is the "Z" for and is Mercury parts express wrong? I called West Marine and the teenager of the day was an idiot, he had no idea what I was talking about. Thanks for any info.

The 'Z' plug is a resistor type. They reduce interference to radios and some electronics.

So should I find the ones with a Z or not worry about it?

Unless you are experiencing problems with interference, I'd go with the ones Merc suggests.
