The reason it is cold in florida is my aunt just bought a house in jacksonville that is just her luck. But don't y'all worry she is coming back in march i think.

Got down to just 15 here overnight! That's the coldest I've seen it here in the nearly 12 years I've lived in the Tampa area.

Heck, it's only 19 degrees right now!

Not gonna get any relief until the end of the week.

Although it was 20 here this morning, the sun came out and it did warm up to the mid-50s by the afternoon, so I went hunting for a few hours. Dressed in layers and was just a tad warm at first, but as the sun started dropping and the wind began shifting, I was glad to be wearing those layers. Hoping to go out again tomorrow for a few more hours.

That is, if we don't get freezing rain!

Deer. bear, fox, coons, squirrels, turkey, hogs. no moose, or elk. gator season is a special permit, special equipment. Niece's boyfriend, had is tracker gunnel smashed, with the bite of a BIG gator.

What TD said, except for bears, which are no longer allowed to be hunted. Plus, upland game birds, migratory birds, etc. The usual stuff.

Yup, the Florida black bear inhabits the area where I was hunting. Got a creepy feeling on the back of my neck a couple times while sitting out there at ground level!

Got down to FOURteen degrees outside my house this morning. Another low temp record. Enough already with this weather already! I miss my 70s!!

Looks like no relief till the weekend, when it?s supposed to get back to normal.
