Up in Canada I seem to have lost 2 reevits:D on my starcraft. Yep gone. Didn't notice until I was taking on water. Not that big a deal. I have 2 bilge pumps. I pulled it out of the water later that day and that is when I discovered the missing reevits. So without tearing the floor out can I pop rivit and silicone the daylights out of it before I pop it in?

+1 on the 5200. A little dab on each reevitt will be fine.

Dont just use any pop rivet. I would use blind rivets that are designed for structural appications.

I would wager that a six pack or two and a short trip to your local aerodrome would get those empty rivet holes filled most ricky-tick.

Been there, done that, several times on the old alumacraft. We beat the ..... reevettes out of that boat.

Temp fix while still in Canada, a small sheet metal screw, or 12.

Haven't popped any on the Starcrafts, yet.

How was the fishing?

I'm not heading up till fall this year.

Did you shear them off when hitting something? If not you should check for loose rivets all around the bottom. Blind rivets with 5200 will last a while but I would consider replacing them with hard rivets during the "off" season. I had a older "72" 26 foot Starcraft with stringer engine and had a rivet come out. Upon futher inspection I found several other "Loose" ones. Ended up removing the floor and foam and hitting every rivet with rivet hammer and block. I even had to replace several with oversize rivets because the holes were oblonged (is that a word?) out. I ended up with new transom, new floor, new foam, etc. And it all started with a rivet falling out, lol.

No did not shear off, I just toasted the bottom of the motor. Another story for later. These seem to have come loose on their own. I called my friend Jerry at American Champion Aircraft and I believe he can fix me up!

Sounds like the 2 missing rivets are the least of your problems.

I am also looking at replacing a bunch of rivets I don't know anyone with the tool so it looks like I will be buying one but don't know where to start any ideas?
