So I what I though has been a fuel problems ends up, it might be a stator problem. I have a 1984 90hp 908V4B Chrysler. I found some resistance readings for my stator online and after taking my readings, they are totaly out of specs. For my stator i am getting 1.4 ohms in one connection and 104 ohms in the other connection. Should be around 900 ohms. What the funny part is, when my problems started, I checked for compression and spark, and I had spark, now I only have spark to my top cylinder. Looked under the flywheel and there is clearly a wire that is fried. As I wiggle the wire around the resistance changes. So can i single my stator out as the culprit or should I still worry about the cd units. My worry is, since I have a short in my stator, why do I have spark on my top spark plug only? My trigger ohms out on both connections around 50 ohms.
