As reasonably educated and usually pompus Americans, it is our iInalienable right to look down on all of the "stupid" immigrants who are picking our vegatables, gutting our hogs and cleaning our toilets.
Sure, they are doing some higer pay jobs, but for the most part, they do the cr@ppy work we will not do.
It is very possible and likely, that many immigrants do not even read or write in their own native language. They are trying to survive in a world of things, they have probably never even dreamed of.
We could give them a break, but then I guess it is part of Darwins theory, to pick on the weak.:^
