I think that was half #16 half #29 . . . amazing save for the #31 before a little luck and an outside run. I'll take it!

Edit: I take it back, the #29 was pure victim.

I wish NASCAR would dump the plates. I think they make the cars run like this. Increase the rear gear ratio to slow then downl

It's Talladega and Daytona, not the cars. They need Bulldozers to fix this . . .

Partially true about the tracks and not the cars. NASCAR made so many changes to the cars that they can't really race w/o the fear of burning down the motors until the end........ No doubt it's the tracks that make drivers fall to the back to stay out of trouble. Usually it's Hendrick that goes to the back. Today it was RCR. Riding around until the end isn't racing. Tracks need to be designed so they have to lift in the corners. Most are, these 2 aren't....

I believe it was Mark Martin that made a statement a few years back...."Restrictor plate racing is gonna get somebody killed." I say toss the plate, and change the gear ratio to where they could only run a certain MPH.

And while we're at it, use the huge infields and make them into road courses. After all NASCAR's roots are running shine over country roads.

race sucked IMO. they ran out the final laps under caution while scraping up 12 cars. a 2 lap race at them tracks suck. why in gods name cant they red flag it if theres multiple cars that are destroyed? instead of running laps out when theres under ten to go? i went to my last race in 2003 and with the follow the leader parades ive seen in 2012 i wouldnt pay $50 to go to one again. about to loose a long time fan.

on another note i went to my first dirt track race last night. MOWA sprints. midwest open wheel assoc. and found it to be more entertaining. $15 for 4 hrs. sprint, mods, street stocks, hornets.
