Probably a scam. If it looks too good to be true, it's likely too good to be true.

"Location: Midland, TX"

I think that might be part of the issue.

It will be interesting to here. That was pretty much the exact boat I wanted (not that I could have afforded it) for a while.

Just received a answer fron the SELLER said the boat is like new serviced regularly washed twice a week . Seats like new needs money to finish a house he is building. Says he needs liquidity is why its being sold for so little, and he has free and clear title for boat and trailer. However the end of the message has a caution to it. (If you are decided we are going to have a safe deal) Also (Please get back to me to explain you more.$2,900 including shipping and delivery to you location/ What do you guys think???????????????,

Do it!! And then post what he sends back to you. I always get a laugh out of reading what those guys in nigeria have to say.

I suspect their response will be asking you to send some cash western union or to send a bunch of personal information so they can steal your identity.

How about I offer him a check for say an easy $5,000 he takes his 29 and wires me back a money order western union for $2,000. Hell I would get caught I bet. He is supposed to get in touch with me about his terms for payment that will be a laugh or two. Keep you posted

Tell him you will come pick it up with cash in hand. I bet he turns you down. This looks like the same scam that was/is going on in the Craig list.

Ha. These guys are too much.

The ebay motors link he sends you will be a fake site that looks like ebay but is not. The site will ask for all kinds of personal information which the scammers will use to commit fraud against you and others.

You can report what information you have to the Internet Fraud dept of the FBI.. even though nothing took place.

http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

I do from time to time.. hoping it helps.. viewing the source of your e-mail with IP information helps.
