Dealers Fault?

I just had the shift cable bellow and shift cable replaced on my 3.0 Mercruiser. We put the boat in the water today and the boat is leaking at the bottom of where the engine goes through the transom. It is a different location than before. Is this something the dealer might have missed when they reattached the outdrive after replacing the bellows? Any ideas on what might be wrong, I was thinking improper gasket seal? Also is this something the dealer should cover because it was not leaking until they fixed the other problem. Any help is apprieciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Ayuh,....... There's an Awlful Lot of "That Depends" in your questions......

You probably should just contact the people responsible for the Repairs,+ have them access the Issue.......

I agree. Take it back to the dealer. Believe it or not, most dealers are honest and will back their work. But there is no way for us to say (from your discription) if it was the dealers fault, or just a "Stuff Happens" type leak.
