Re: Death penalty

I'm sure it has been debated here before.
That is one sick story. Got ill while reading it.

First we need to know what the children did to provoke this action.
Then get them counseling so it wont happen again.
Could it be that the Adults were afraid to discipline the bad kids in
public, and thought it was the only way to control them?
Without going to jail?
This has to taken under consideration also.
I can see this played out in the courts even now!

I’m still angry after reading the story. (see above)

Eye for a Eye. Tooth for a Tooth.
Comes to mind. For at least ten years in solitude with no outside contact.

Then put them in the general prison with no special privileges.
Death row, without being on death row!

All I can say is that I'm glad someone found these poor children and they can now get some emotional support and medical assistance. With any luck at all they will find a loving and caring foster home.:/

These so called parents need to be kept in the same environment for about 6 months. I just can't believe what people do to innocent children who are so dependant on them.:|

That story is very shameful. That type of treatment goes on more than you think. Too bad the busy body didn't get the children help earlier. Clip and snip both parents and take the kids away. Some pokey time to boot as well.

As for the Death Penalty? Why can't they use Carbon Monoxide? Oderless, colorless, and painless. Very cheap to produce as well. Yes I'm for it, but the 15 to 25 years on death row is a joke. Every case is different, but when it is beyond any reasonable doubt that they commited their crime, take care of them within a timely manner. Not for another 20 years of sucking up our tax money.

There must be special place in hell for these so-called parents, might be good candidates to be taken to the coast of Somalia, with a box of crackers, put on a small ship and cast off.

Death penalty, definitely for it. Way they should be executed? It depends how they murdered their victims, hideous death to the victims, sorry Charlie.

Treedancer, we agree on this! Better watch out or people are going to think you're a closet conservative! I couldn't do that to a rat let alone children. These people will probably be out in a few months and have a few more kids to replace these. Where is the outrage from the drive by media over this? I think this consitutes torture a bit more than putting womens panties over some terrorists head!

Yea, the story made me sad, angry, and it broke my heart at the same time.

The officer that found the kids has more self control than I will ever have. I would have caved in that woman's (I use the term loosly) head before thinking about consequences.

Dang, the girls were only 6 & 7 years old. It was Monday and thay were "hoping" to get fed this next weekend. :'(

Every time i hear stories like this committed on young children, I get teary eyes. "Hoping they could eat this weekend". How innocent can a child be?

Does anyone know the address where they live? I would like to send them a gift.

Pretty sick. The girls will never be completely emotionally healed from such an ordeal. They will probably never feel "good enough" about themselves. Hopefully with some counseling and a loving environment, they can at least feel safe.

As for the parents, complete solitary confinement, no lights, absolutely NO food whatsoever. Check on them in say a month or so... I don't think the taxpayers should have to feed these sorry Sons of B!tc#e$!!!

I think I'd have to pay the price with the Judge if I was to see that. The witch would never walk again, and that would be the least of her worries.
