Help! I need to replace the decals on my 1967 Evinrude 80 HP Starflite. I do not have a decal to trace so having one replicated has become very difficult? Can anyone tell me where I could find one without being able to trace the old one, or does anyone have one that you could measure and trace for me? Screen Shot 2023-03-19 at 10.07.51 AM.png

Discontinued Decals.Com is great, but if they haven't already reproduced the decal, they will require a tracing/rubbing. I've provided tracings for decals on my rv and they quickly and accurately reproduced them. Now I'm going to do a tracing of the decals on my 1959 Crestliner Voyager which are pretty worn after 64 years. I'm confident they'll come through.

Are you a member of the Antique Classic Boat Society, or the Antique Outboard Motor Club, and is it your intention to enter the boat / motor in a sanctioned meet? If so, you will need period correct decals or your motor won't even place in the competition.

If you simply want the motor to sparkle and look nice, some spray paint and some decals from Office Max will suffice.

This is a 1959 Evinrude Golden Jubilee motor. Can you tell that the decals are not OEM?

Thank you so much for your reply. We are currently trying to replicate the decal and come up with an accurate size and shape since we no longer have the original to work from. I saw GarzonStudio had the exact picture of one on their web site, however they cannot reproduce without tracing either. We will try to get this tracing and go from there. Thank you again.

Perhaps one of the good folks on this forum has the motor and can supply a tracing. Place a free classified here and see what happens.

Oops, thought I was on AOMCI forum. Go to AOMCI.org and place your classified there.
