Guys, It's time to give Slow Ride a makeover! I recently removed the wrap and have her sanded down. A new wrap cost about as much as a paint job these days and so I'm thinking I will just get the boat painted and then put a few graphics on myself....... if I can find someone to produce and send them to me. I found a couple of places online but they were fairly rudimentary. Anyone have a good point of contact or know of an online company that will work on a project like this if I send them pictures, measurements, etc.?

These are pics of the boat before I removed the old wrap. I have it sanded and the entire boat is white. I'm thinking of keeping the gold checker board on the aft as well as the manufacturer's name and the boat name, "SLOW RIDE" in Gold. I have another scheme set up with a local wrap company which uses many, many small skulls which fade away as you move to the bow and keeps the gold lettering without the checkers, only a few dagger or lightening type lines to tie it all together. The wraps are cool looking but durability is an issue. Anytime you touch (notice I didn't say hit) the dock it will be damaged when on a boat of this size. So I'm really leaning towards paint and much less wrap. The skull option was designed to make the graphics so busy and complicated that a scratch here or there would not be noticeable. What do you think? Opinions welcome!

Wow! That Fountain sure is one fine looking craft! Very Nice! Thanks for sharing and be sure to keep us in the loop on what you end up doing with the paint and graphics...
I like your ideas and completely agree that wraps are vulnerable, but in a way so is paint...

That's a 1988 believe it or not! I got it for under 30K but put about 10K to get it to this point. Lots of love, time and probably too much $$$, but it's blast on the water. It fishes very well and turns heads at the dock. We put a really nice stereo on it for the kids to dance to. We have children that are younger than 10 who love to dance all over the boat when we are parked or just idling along. It has been a blessing to serve as daddy's hard core fishing machine as well as a cruiser for the rest of the family to play on. We took it to the T-heads in Corpus Christi TX on the 4th of July and watched the fireworks from the water. We docked and ate at a local restaurant and then cruised home late in the evening. It was a heck of a way to spend the 4th for those of us who love boating and I couldn't help but think of how lucky we are.

Just goes to prove that a well cared for boat can last for decades...may you and yours continue to enjoy it for many, many more seasons!
It is not always about the money invested versus the joy, happiness and memories made...those are priceless...
I'll be anxiously waiting the NEW look...
