Chopper - if you can't readily find replacements, and you have the old ones, just go to a local sign shop. They can usually create an exact or nearly exact replica. From what I've seen with an outboard I'm working on, the price difference between custom decals and OEM (IF you can find them), is not huge.

Re: decals

Something I did for a boat I used to own - I found that boat's logo on the internet, cleaned it up and made it larger to match the size of the one on my boat, and took it on a disk to my local sign shop. With the leg work out of the equation, all they had to do was plug it into the vinyl cutter machine. The decals ran me about $22.00. Ask what formats, etc. are usable, and get a size. Not all shops will do it, but mine did... Helps if you have access to a decent program like Photoshop, etc. for clean-up and sizing.

- Scott

THe sign shop will probably want either an AI file or EPS file. I did some truck lettering recently and they needed me to redo my whole drawing in AI. The vinyl cutters follow the wirepath in a vector graphic. If you can't do it that way, you might get charged for "clean up"
