decarb cause problem?

I just did a decarb on my 1968 6hp and now it doesn't have power in forward gear, seems fine in neutral. It doesn't have the rpm and it will quit at WOT. But every once in a while i will restart it and it has normal power, but eventually quits again at WOT. Could the decarb have caused the problem? I used sea foam through the carb. Should I rebuild the carbs now?

All the crud is fouling the spark plug..by a few more, as it will still foul more until it blows all the crud free..
Try that first..

Could have loosened some crud from the fuel tank.

What ratio did you use.
You could always use straight fuel if in doubt.

If you are still running seafoam in the tank that could be the problem. Pour the gas out of the tank and refill with fresh gas and oil.
