For 1st start of the spring I typically pull the plugs and crank a few times to discharge any overabundance of fogging oil, put plugs back in and start her up.THIS spring I decided to introduce some Seafoam into the cylinders let sit for an hour and then start her up.I figured ,since I usually do a quick decarb during the season ,I would do it now since I have the time and since the plugs are already pulled. I will probably pull plugs again to clean the prior to launch but figured I would change it up this year.Last season I while changing out the fuel water sep ,I filled the new one with mostly Seafoam on installation.
Not certain if decarbing on a cold motor is as effective as on a warmed up motor? Charlie
