I just got back from decarboning my motor using tashadaddy's method.

Everything I've read has said that the engine would smoke like "a house fire." My engine smoked, however nothing like "a housefire."

I'm just wondering if I did something wrong or if it's possible that my engine didn't have a whole lot of carbon built up.

Very possible. I have had all kinds of degrees of smoke from various engines I have ran that through. sometimes a little white smoke, sometimes you fill the block with thick black smoke (85 Caprice station Wagon :D).

So what exactly is the white smoke? Is that the Seafoam burning or is that the carbon burning off?
