Want to fully restore a 2 stroke 2 cylinder motor to factory conditions, has excessive carbon build ups, stuck hardened old gasket's and gasket's left overs on the entire crankcase.

Doing it manually will take too much time, as don't have fancy products to soak overnight was wondering if a long soak in acrylic thinner and then brushing off the carbon build ups will do the trick ? How about paint remover or caustic soda ?

Thanks FS,

Ended soaking the cylinder head in boiling water for 30 minutes to soften the old gasket's left overs, then proceeded with Dremel's SS small brushes, Scotch Brite Green Pads dampened in water with a generous overdose of toothpaste taking my time while polishing and sipping some cold ones,

this pic highly detracts the best finish that was obtained at the end of the long hand process. Not bad for a motor that has never been flushed with fresh water during its entire life. The previous pic and this one speaks for themselves...
