Hello all,
It's been a while since a posted. I have my boat all tucked away for the winter and really didn't have any problems winterizing it. I just got done putting all new wires in it (thanks mouse
) and had a question about decarbonizing the motor. Here are the specs:
1992 Johnson 60 hp VJ60TLENE
no idea about the hours on it
I run TWC-3 oil in it (pennsoil)
Never been decarbonized to the best of my knowledge
My first question is decarbonizing it. I know the cans of stuff are pretty idiot proof, but having never been done is there anything special I should do? Also what kinds off additives do you recommend running in it i.e. Seafoam ect.
My second question, is the oil I've been using ok or should I use something else.
Thanks for all your help!!!
