Hello,
I have been using a "deep cycle marine" (550cold crank, 700 marine crank) battery as my starter battery for my 89 force 35.
It has started my motor without issue for 2 years. It is now struggling to turn it over.
I am guessing that I need a new battery. On my way to pick up a new one.
Should I be using a deep cycle marine battery as the battery that I connect to the starter / motor?
Should I switch to a "starter battery"?
I use a deep cycle marine for my trolling motor and other electric options.
I think that my motor sends a charge back to the battery as it is running. What type of battery handles this the best?
Thanks
