Can you delete some URLs from the dropdown window on IE explorer, without deleting them all (via clear history)?

Ken

nope, not there. I have XP with IE 6.0

I can do that with "autocomplete", but not with the URL drop downs.

Ken

The only way I can see to accomplish what you wish to do is to follow, Xcusme's advice, whch means browsing to the user's history folder(s).

\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\History

You may need to check any sub-folders as well..... the url list in the address bar does not include addresses from 'today' only. It will search as far back as your internet history settings allow.

Xcusme's method didn't work for me. XP home w/SP2 & IE 6.0. I was able to select any offending URL from the drop-down, and when it appeared in the address line, right click it and delete it.
