denatured alcohol on gel coat?

On the bow there are some scuff marks from the bow roller stop. Would it be safe to clen them off with denatured alcohol then re-wax?

You can use polishing compound too

I'd trying the alcohol, naptha, laquer thinner or maybe even acetone before I'd resort to an abrasive. Any of those solvents on gel coat are safe.

try some black streak remover, made for gelcoat.
