On my fishing trip to the Mississippi this weekend my lower unit seized and cracked. The starter will enguage but the motor will not turn over. The shifter will still go forward and backwards and fells the same as before it broke. I wanna know, when I replace this lower unit if there will be other potentially broken parts on the rest of the motor might I have to look for?
With the core being garbage, where would be the cheapest place to find a brand new lower unit.
