Papa you could spend upwards of $75 just to ship. Naturally I'm not sure but a call to UPS or similiar could tell you. Question for you, have you checked any nearby boat yards or trashed boats for a tank? I actually have two I pulled from wrecked bass boats and they were easy to get. May be cheaper too...

Cost me $100-$150 to ship a poly tank from Chi-town to Boston.

it's a Starboard fill, and the withdraw's in the right place..

the Sender's at the front which will make you think you're out sooner than you are, Mines aft so I think is better as I know when I'm really low, I guessm tough choice

remember that UPS et al may be less than eager to ship tanks that have had gas in them before....i'd check that

Good thought, Barato.

I recently bought a used motorcycle tank on fleaBay and it was shipped via USPS. Got a call one day from the main postal sorting facility that a package addressed to me smelled of gasoline. To be safe, they had to "remove it from the mail chain". I had to go downtown to the main office, fill out paperwork and speak to the HazMat officer before I could take possession of package. Turns out the seller had left about a half cup of gas in the tank when he sent it.

Definitely something to think about.

It's 42 miles from me. How bad do you want it.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in Trenton putting a deposit on an 18 footer for a guy named Jason from Midland anyway.:p Gibraltar is only a little farther south.

Anyone from downriver on here?

Let me know guys, I'll do it.

Dude, he never called me back. I can't buy that anyway, it's too big (unless he goes $500, then it should be ok):D

Papa, what's going on. I answered the call to arms. Awaiting further orders, if needed.

Thanks guys, but I don't think it's viable to ship it here for less than the cost of the tank. I emailed the guy and he never responded either.

I'm just looking locally now, which is driving me nuts cause I'm not finding anything but 6 gallon red plastic cans. I already have a couple of those.

Hope something shows up soon cause I'm gonna be ready to put the new floors in within the next week or so.
