I had a pump failure in 2005 on my 1999 blazer. Problem is I do all of my mechanic. Im sure they are not giving those of us any money even if we have the receipts.....

Technically the repairs had to be done in a designated GM repair facility or equivalent. However; printing the form off and sending in a copy of your reciepts certainly wouldnt hurt anything.

The good thing is now that Fel-Pro has an updated Perma-seal gasket set for this problem.
They are twice as thick as the OEM and are a hard rubber coated metal gaskets.
I wonder if GM updated the OEM gasket set?

I ask cause I bought this from the original owner last year whose brother is a GM master mechanic at a Chevy dealer. And supposedly he did all the maintence.
I don't what dealer he works for and the previous owner is in Italy and no telling what town the brother might be in.
