Dexoleum

I have a request to redo a gangway that the original drawing was drawn in 1950. It lists a product called Dexoleum. The best i can tell, it is a non slip coating of some sort.

Any of you have any idea who makes it or if it is discontinued, what would be an acceptable substitute?

Have not heard of it, but did find it mentioned on old sail boats
Could do it like we did it in the USCG. Mask the area that needs the coating. Put down a thick coating of paint, then sprinkle sand all over. Once dry, sweep off and its good to go

That’s what I am thinking, using a broadcast non slip. But, being coast guard, I have to ID it first and offer an equivalent
