On July 6 I asked about connecting a water pressure gage to my 1985 Johnson 140hp. You assisted by telling me to tee into the line from the adapter plate going into the water control valve. Thank you and I appreciate the info but unfortunately I don't know where the adapter plate and the water control valve are located. If I may I would like to ask another question on my 140. I was overheating but when I removed the Tstats the motor ran cold. Is that a good indication that the Tstats are bad? I do know that I should not run the motor without Tstats. Thank you
