DI Spark Plug Question

I have a 2002 225 HO Rude. I have been made aware the there is an approved alternate Champion plug. I have always used the QC12PEP Platinum which the engine called for. Not the greatest plug and I am not a fan of Champions.

They now have a QC10WEP Iridium plug which is supposed to last longer. Has anyone used these newer Iridium plugs in a DI or etec engine?? Have you noticed any performance difference other than the longer life.

Looking for feedback to make a decision whether to try. Thanks.

Below are the ONLY plugs you should consider:

200, 225, 250 Ficht/DI (incl. HO) 1999 - 2006 QC12PEP .030
200, 225, 250 Ficht/DI (incl. HO) 1999 - 2006 (optional) QC10WEP .030

You are indexing them, right?

You shouldn't even think about different plugs ... your motor was designed to run Champions.
