did anyone else experience forum access problems

I havent been able to load the forums for two days. and now finally after a security verification field , i am in. But I dont see any threads on the down forum.

what was the issue?

Yes- just got in after about 36 hours of the forum link doing nothing when I clicked on it. I also had to enter some characters in a display panel before I was directed in. I assumed an overhaul of the site was going on, and new security has been implemented to keep out the spammers. That's just a guess, tho.

Yup, down for a couple of days . . . must have been a big 'crash'.. It looks like it came back to life around 1:30 EDT.

I was starting to have withdrawal symptoms . . . almost started posting on THT and BABC

I tried my link once and got a blank white page with black type that said;

"These are not the droids you're looking for"

Me too. I used to be able to open different threads in multiple tabs (open everything I want to read from one forum all at once then read them all), but now when I try to do that only the first one works, the rest come up with the verification and then redirects me back to the main forum page.

Now I'm getting a "Database Error" when I click on some of the forums.

We just didn't want you guys hanging around so much. It was getting a little "crowded" let's say.


jk. They say it was "maintenance" issues. Sounds like they were breached.

I will never be able to get back that lost iboats tiime! I was forced to have real audible conversations which proved to be difficult.

EDIT: I am going to look at Kennyfam. He SAYS he is overseas... I would have iboats corporate look for someone funny looking with a wire snips...I think they are trying to get even!

well at least i feel a little more normal.....

this same thing happened on an outdoor forum i go to...it got hacked and it took a while for the owner to clean the bugs out...but the funny thing was some guys got shut out and some didnt!
