Now check the trigger!

If that works out ohm-wise, you either get a DVA and go further down the diagnostic road or buy a switch box and cross your fingers.

Purple to White >> 800-1400 || 711 || 796
Brown to White/Black (Black) >> 800-1400 || 724 || 813


YOu did that. So now either make or buy a DVA or pull the trigger on a new switchbox.

Just to confirm, you have no spark on ANY cylinders?

Wires to check >> CDI || wires connected to pack || wires disconnected from pack
Blue to Blue/White >> 2200-2400 || 34 || 1517

Does this mean you read 34 while connected to the module, then 1517 when dis-connected from the module?

This would indicate a problem within the module.

HOWEVER, compare the cost of a new module to the cheap cost of building a DVA Adaptor to make SURE, would be a few dollars very well spent.

Ordered and installed a new switch box. Engine is running again hitting on all cylinders. Problem now is it is running rough. I have to advance the idle lever to halfway to start and run smoothly. Do I need to do the link & sync thing or should I check something else? I did have to pull the control assembly off to rewire the key switch and choke.
