Did you know that wal-mart sells Crickets?

I didn't know that wal-mart sells crickets. I was in there afew months back looking at a weight set for my son and just had to pass by the sporting goods. I saw this kid checking out the display of crickets and a thought went into my head.. That is when I heard the clerk say, Oh no not again.. It was a cricket rodeo in wal-mart and 4 crazy clerks came running.. Just watching them try to catch the critters was just to funny.. I guess the curious kid just had to get abetter look and he dropped the plastic container they were in and 3 others fell down also.. Now the funny thing is I get home and call a friend up and told him about it.. He was like oh really are sure your not talking about last week.. No why? Because my son did the whole intire display and they were in every sporting good iyle.. Nope it just happen today..<br /> So guys when you go into wal-mart watch out for the cricket display it may jump out and get ya..

Reminds me of a fishing trip along the tennesse river with some army buddie's we were going after shell crackers (red ears) and had bought about 300 crickets. Since my buddies didn't want night time critters to get them they kept them in their tent. Needless to say sometime during the night one of them manage to knock the cover off the cricket box. We woke up to them screaming bloody heck and trying to catch crickets in the dark while not knocking the tent down. It was a long night but we did catch a bunch of fish so all was good.

Crickets are very fragil....I like to catch grasshoppers when I mow the lawn. They can hold their breath a long time!
