Same thing, different name/term. Your Lark is a 2-stroke...if it requires oil in the gas it's a 2-stroke.

The technically correct term for the engine is "two stroke cycle". Meaning the piston makes two strokes to complete one cycle of operation.

Either term, 2 stroke or 2 cycle, is acceptable, though most gearheads use 2 stroke.
