Hi All,

Could someone explain to me the difference between high test and BBB chain?

BBB is usually a grade 30 chain whereas higher grades are considered "high test".
1/4" BBB has 1300lb WLL
the next higher test 1/4" has 2600lb WLL

But why are you asking?
If it is to be use on a windlass, follow the type they recommend. I think it has to do with the amount of links per foot and/or WLL. If your running through a windlass or pulley or something that has chainlink pockets, only certain grades will fit the link pockets.
