different tires?

Is it bad to have two different tires? My spare tire is a 5.30 12 and my main tires are 4.80 12. If one of them blows, is it dangerous to use the spare?

The spare is a taller tire but should work fine to get you home.
As far as every day use its best to have matching tires.

it should be fine enough to get you home. think about cars that have the "donut" spares, designed to get u out of trouble and better than nothing, but not for regular driving.

The 4.80 is smaller (obvious) and has a lighter load rating. As long as your not running the max, you should be good for the short term.

the only time a different diameter tire is "bad" is if its put on an axle with a differential with limited slip.

your fine to use it as a spare.
