Need assistance - still trying to track down my issue on my 2016 Monterey 218SS with a 5.3L V8-300C that can't start. It relates to three active SPNs 697/698/699 - each showing an FMI 5. The issue is described as an Auxiliary Pulse Width Modulation Analog Display Driver(s) 1, 2, 3 having low current or being open. The codes get generated with the key being turned on - without cranking the engine. (see pics)
Working through fixing this, I've done all the standard things and am currently focused on the Engine Protection System - the workshop manual indicates that the oil pressure, throttle control, and MAP feed it. The oil pressure and throttle control appear good.
My question to you experts is when I pulled off the TMAP sensor input, I only got an SPN 105 FMI3 (Intake Air Temp shorted high) error code. It is a dual pressure/temperature sensor (Volvo Penta 3859020) but is this normal to only see the one (temp) error get logged?
Open to any advice!! Thanks!
John
