Hello all, bought a nice 8 foot sailing dinghy that was made from a kit. I plan to learn how to sail on it. My question is that on the transom there is a corner ( right angles) that has some separation of the fiberglass from the wood/plywood fore probably from a drop. The material, fiberglass is all there but is cracked and separating about 1.5 inches in two directions. The hull is painted.
So my question is can I simply "glue" the piece back down? 3m 5200? If not what should I use?
If it cannot be simply glued back down , how would I repair it?
Thanks Ike
