Re: Dinovite
Has anyone tried this stuff for their dogs? I've got one friend that has been using it, but said the results were slow coming.
Its that time of year it seems when my dog likes to chew at himself. Its not a flea problem, but more of an allergy.
Just curious on the feedback from people who have used it but not on their radio ad. Thanks.........SS
I have no experience with this particular produce, but Rasty, the family Staffordshire terrier/Rhodesian ridgeback cross, had the same condition at this time of year. The large animal vet in our area gave us samples of some human allergy medication. It was to be administered orally. It got to be quite a game of wits to get him to take them. He had the ability to sort that little pill out of just about anything we embedded it in. His skill at spitting them out would have made him a contender at a watermelon spitting contest. They did do the job, however. The visit to the farm vet was after going to a city small animal practice that prescribed a $600 scratch test and a year around maintenance program for additional monthly visits and injections. If you can find a farm vet, he will be much more practical and not play on your emotions.
The consultation with the small animal vet ended with, "You do love that dog, don't you? You couldn't face your kids if you didn't do everything possible for him, right?" Followed by a request for you M/C card number and to open a revolving account.
