Why? The distance between the end of the dipstick tube and pan bottom isn't important. If you only have 9/16" of oil in the pan, there are more serious issues to work on.
As long as the full mark matches when the proper amount of oil is in the pan, the overall length of the stick or tube means nothing.
What type of oil sucker are you using? The hose down the dipstick tube or the threaded adapter on the tube?
Millions of boats made with same dipstick. If its not a problem for all those boats, why would a bit of old oil left in the sump be an issue for you? Just wondering
Then you will have the problem of not getting all the oil out. The tube never rests on the bottom of the pan.
If your pump came with the hose to stick down the tube and it fits through the threaded top of the tube, use that because it will reach the bottom of the pan.
