Dirt Water When Flushing 4.3 Liter Engine

I recently purchased a Invader boat with a 4.3 liter engine, the boat seems to run ok without any detectable issue. When I took the boat home I flushed the engine with ear muff for a few minutes and everything seemed ok.

After sitting for a week I flushed it again and the water that came out was very dirty, not oily just dirty. When i did the orignal flush I didn't notice any diry water.

What would cause this?

Second Question:

This boat has a 4.3 liter engine with I belive a 2 barral carb, how many horse power is this? If the carb was upgraded to a four barral when the horse power change?

Ayuh,....

The water just picked up some Crap while it was waitin for ya,..
Don't worry about it.. Motors are kinda Dirty on the inside of the cooling system...

It's probably around 175hp or so with the 2bbl....
And will yeild about 200hp or so with the 4bbl...
