disassemble MerControl

I need to remove the Mercontrol throttle on my '76 Mercruiser. It is the one that has the triangular silver handle without trim on the handle. Mercontrol is stamped in the circular portion of the base around the release button. It looks like the handle has to come off of it so i can release it from the gunnel to change the cables.

Should be a allen head screw on the bottom of the handle, some times you have to play with the lever to get it lined up with the slot on the base

Thanks Laddies, knew there had to be a simple way to do it. Where it is, I just couldn't stand on my head enough to see teh screw.
