Does anyone know if a mechanical fuel pump from an 84 ish 3.0 4 cyl would work with a 92 3.0 4 cyl?

I think it will the pumps/water seperator seems to be good for all 3.0s and even some 4.7s.
Just wondered if anyone knew for sure?

I need to keep pre 1992 to do an easy direct swap. Main seal being the biggest issue I would find

Ayuh,..... I believe that's 1990, not '92,....

Donno 'bout the fuel pumps, but few if any 3.0ls come with a water separator filter,...
That's usually owner added on 3.0ls,...

oh ok i thought they did both jobs, just a fuel pump then. They seem to be pretty universal, 3.0. 4 cyl even 6 cycl so hopefully it'll work on my 92

A few different fuel pumps were used on the 2.5l, 3.0l and the 4.1l six cylinder, but they all mounted up to the same flange.
