that is a neat idea.

however this current thread is over 5 years old.
we usually try and watch the starting post date when we click a link off any page but the main forums page.
posting to old threads is very difficult and confusing for all who read it.

you might try and start a new post, and ask....would this work?

I have the opportunity to buy a used swim platform but it needs some alterations done its 10 feet long and 24 inches in width. My boat is a 2004 Bayliner 175 and can take up to 76 X 24 swim platform so my question is can I cut this used swim platform down and round the edges of on both ends as well. Is this worth doing and can it be done or is it too labour intensive to bother with. I would appreciate and advice or help you could offer me on if I should take this job on.
