Do 181`heads crack often?

Hi

I have read this tread: http://www.baylinerownersclub.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8105&page=2

And according to a mercruiser tecnician they see many 181`(GM Vortec 3000) engines with a cracket head - is it true that many 3.0 get cracked heads? i have yet to see one here in Scandinavia - we only see cracked blocks and heads if not winterized propperly - but otherwise i have never seen carcked heads on the 3.0

they tend to crack if the manifold riser starts clogging and restricting water flow.
usually
as long as water flow is normal they dont crack.
normally goes back to a maint issue, corrective or preventative it will get done.
