Motor: 1981 Evinrude 75hp Model#E75TRLCIM
This is my current setup:
This is the coil I just received. It only has one wire, whereas the old coil I have on the motor has 2 wires coming from the back of the coil
Do the metal tabs on the NEW coil act as the ground rather than using a wire as a ground? If so, can I splice(crimp) the new orange coil wire to the OEM wire on the plug? (the female side of harness is potted into the powerpack, so there's no way disconnect it)
