I have a 18 ft Shallow Sport that I use quite often. Everytime after I take it out of the water and pull the plugs a good amount of gas leaks out. There is no way I can inspect the gas tank becuase it is in the hull of the boat. Im guesing that the tank has a hole or somthing, and I guess the only way to correct the problem is to take it to the local boat shop and have them install a new gas tank underneath the consle and completly drain out the tank underneath the hull??? anyone have any advice? thanks alot for any help.

XJoker, DJohns is right, fellow boater, failure to fix this problem before going out again, could result in the penalty of death. This one needs immediate attention. It may be simple, it may be a pain, but letting it go, WILL be worse!

XJoker:
djohns and GB have said it all! None of us want you to become the EX-Joker! Something as simple as static elect can be created from moving around on the boat seats.. then touch the Ing switch (metal) Poof!

Let us know how you got it fixed..

Link

Good deal XJoker25xx, now start with the easy stuff, like the hoses till it is all checked out. Hopefully it won't be a costly repair.
Good Luck!

GodsBeast
