Do I need to update charging, after adding electric start ?

Will I need to update my charging system on an Evinrude E25REOR, that I just added electric start too ?

i have done this on many motors. as long as you have a good strong battery, you are good as is, for a weekend outing. besides they are easy to rope start if necessary. one note. charge battery immediately after use, and the night before use. they will last twice as long if you keep them charged. they do not like being discharged.

I plan to add electric start to mine someday.
Would like to see pics on how you ran the battery
cables to the motor and start switch.

I'm adding the e start to mine and also the charge coils. The charger only puts out 4 little amps. I added it because I had it and doubt I would have paid extra to get one for just 4 amps worth. My motor will still have the pull start anyway incase of dead battery from trolling.
