Do I or Don't I buy this, What do You guys think

It's a sickness, saw this 57 starcraft for sale, I can get it for 425 + 250 for a shipper to deliver it, I will need a vintage short shaft motor and controls as well as a pulley steering system. I am guessing it had a windshield at one time too. What do you guys think, is it worth it?

hi bret. i wish i could help you with the value but im new to the vintage boat scene myself. id say .. from a cool factor ... deff worth the 425 in my opinion. i was recently in the same situation as you ... should i or shouldnt i buy a starcraft ss .. well, i did lol thanks to reading alot of other posts and talking to a few really good guys on here. if you do get it id like to see pics of the floor and the dash area. whats the length ?? 12 footer ? scott

Bret if you get her I'll let you have the 1960 Cutter for $400.00 which will give you the short shaft merc motor with controls and a windshield that should fit that boat .
