do outboards charge batterys?

hi excuse my naivity but do suzuki dt65 1990 or any other outboard for that matter charge the batterys when they are running??

so how do most people charge there batterys??? do they remove and charge from the mains? or uis the small amount they charge enough??

If we're just talking about the motor starting battery....the outboard should be able to keep that charged up from running (unless you've had a particularly rough time getting the motor started that day). But if you're talking about a deep cycle battery for a trolling motor or accessories, I plug that into a charger at home.
